SQL DBA/ Developer - Phoenix, AZ
MGA is currently recruiting for a SQL Server DBA opening. This is a database administration position whose primary responsibility is the maintenance and expansion of our client's electronic commerce backend infrastructure. Immediate tasks include performance optimization of existing back-end databases, servers and processes, as well as providing comprehensive SQL7/2000 DBA support in Windows NT/2000 Clustering environment. Perform SQL installation, upgrade, database setup, monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery.
Skills/Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred
4+ years of SQL Server programming
2-4 years of SQL DBA experience
Strong optimization and performance tuning skills
Experience with database sizing, capacity planning
