QA Manager, Accounting Systems - Phoenix AZ, Scottsdale, AZ
We are currently seeking a QA Manager who has experience in an ERP environment. This job requires someone that has 5+ years of hands-on QA experience. Any experience or exposure to cost commercial construction financial and cost accounting is a definite plus.
Responsibilities:
Test software and perform analysis to ensure that software products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards.
Develop and apply customized test procedures for the organization's products.
Communicate with product developers, project managers, and technical support specialists on software issues.
Manage the work efforts of individual contributors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews
Requirements:QA experience in an ERP environment a must
Experienced with automation tools
Create documented test script
Manage manual testing versus automation
Work closely with project managers for work assignments
Deliver perfect releases and service packs on schedule
Execute operational plan that supports strategic plan
Manage minimum of six staff members
Accounting knowledge is a plus
Prior experience with enterprise based financial software is a plus
Broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills
Requires six or more years of experience and at least two years of leadership responsibility
