SQL DBA Needed- 2 positions

We are currently recruiting for 2 SQL Server DBA openings. This is a database administration position whose primary responsibility is the maintenance and expansion of our clients electronic commerce backend infrastructure. Immediate tasks include performance optimization of existing back-end databases, servers and processes as well as providing comprehensive SQL7/2000 DBA support in Windows NT/2000 Clustering environment. Perform SQL installation, upgrade, database setup, monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery.

Skills/Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, preferred

4+ years of SQL Server programming experience (advanced SQL skills, advanced DTS skills)

2-4 years of SQL DBA experience, highly proficient in SQL 2000 operations (installation, maintenance, backup/recovery, security)

Strong optimization and performance tuning skills

Experience with database sizing, capacity planning

Extensive experience with VLDBs, data warehousing, data marts, and ODS

Experience with design and implentation of data marts and ODS

Strong ETL experience using DTS/Integration Services

OLAP/Analysis Services/Reporting Services experience, a plus

Must be detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal skills

Project Manager- 3 positions

MGA Currently is seeking a Project Managers for long term assignments with a fortune 1000 corporation. Permanent employment is also available.

Responsibilities:

Work with the pursuit team to complete RFP's project scoping, scheduling and pricing estimates

Contribute to establishing project vision

Ensure that all needed assets and resources are identified to successfully meet client expectations

Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, issues logs and change orders

Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client status meetings

Manage and control project scope and the change control process

Assure that projects complete according to schedule and within budget

Manage the project financial's including weekly resource hours and overall project budget

Ensure that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved prior delivery to the client

Act as the client point-of-contact for all project related issues

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

Retail project experience, including direct experience with integrated / online shopping tools (shopping cart, kiosks, etc.)

Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience with creative teams, ability to motivate teams, inspire teamwork & direct work flow

Must have experience managing larger, complex and cross functional projects including leading multiple projects simultaneously

Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, decision making, and conflict resolution skills

Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations

Solid understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, calculate margin and project financial's, perform resource allocations, run team meetings

Strong knowledge of web development processes and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components

Hands-on integrated marketing experience a plus
